The construction of the Shanghe-Hangzhou high-speed railway has realized the "seamless connection" of the transportation arteries of the three provinces of Henan, Anhui, and Zhejiang, highlighted the eastward dominant direction of transportation construction, and enabled the interaction and cooperation between the central region and the "Pan-Yangtze River Delta region" become more open. At the same time, this line plays a very important role in improving the rapid passenger transport network, realizing the diversion of passengers and goods, releasing the existing railway freight capacity, and strengthening the economic ties between central and eastern China.
